Shipping Address vs. Billing Address
It is important to understand the difference between the two types of addresses you store:
Address Type | Purpose | Important Note |
Shipping Address | The location where Remobile will physically send your order (e.g., your home, office, or P.O. box). | You can have multiple shipping addresses (e.g., Home and Work). |
Billing Address | The address officially associated with the credit card or payment method you are using. | This address must match the records of your bank or credit card provider for your payment to be approved. |
Step-by-Step Guide
You can manage all your saved addresses by logging into your Remobile account and navigating to the "Account Settings" or "Addresses" section.
1. Add a New Address
Click on "Add New Address."
Fill in all the required fields (Name, Street, City, Postal Code, Country).
Select whether it is a Shipping Address, Billing Address, or both.
Click on "Save Address."
2. Edit an Existing Address
Locate the address you wish to change.
Click on the "Edit" or pencil icon next to the address.
Make the necessary corrections.
Click on "Save Changes."
3. Delete an Address
Locate the address you want to remove.
Click on the "Delete" or trash can icon next to it.
Confirm the deletion when prompted. (Note: You cannot delete an address if it is currently set as the default address or is linked to a pending order.)
4. Set a Default Address
Find the address you want to use most often.
Click on the "Set as Default Shipping Address" or "Set as Default Billing Address" option.
This address will be automatically selected during checkout, but you can change it at any time before placing an order.
Tips for Correct Address Formatting
Street Details: Always include your full street name, house number, and any apartment or unit number if applicable (e.g., Main Street 42, Apt 3B).
Postal Code: Double-check your postal code, as it is crucial for accurate routing by carriers.
Use Local Characters: For international addresses, use the local spelling and character set (e.g., using ä, ö, ü for German addresses).
Phone Number: Ensure your local phone number is provided so the delivery person can contact you in case of a delivery problem.
Address Restrictions
Maximum Saved Addresses: You can store up to 25 addresses in your Remobile account.
International Addresses: Remobile ships to all countries listed in our shipping policy. Please ensure you select the correct country from the dropdown menu when entering a non-domestic address.
